Barrymore’s Flower No Longer Single

Flower Films has picked up the rights to Liz Tuccillo’s best selling novel “How to Be Single” and plan to adapt it into a rom-com for New Line Cinema reports the trades.

Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen will produce the story of five single women living in New York City, one of which is writing a book about the working class nature of today’s Bachelorette.

When she sets out on a worldwide trip in support of the book and ends up getting involved in an international affair, her four friends stay back home and battle it out on the big city dating scene.

Marc Silverstein and Abby Kohn will adapt the script and a late 2009 release is planned.
