Banks Joins Crowe On “Three Days”

Elizabeth Banks is in final negotiations to join the Russell Crowe-led thriller “The Next Three Days” for Lionsgate reports the trades.

A remake of Fred Cavaye’s 2008 French thriller “Pour Elle”, the story centers on an ordinary couple who find themselves in an unthinkable situation when the woman (Banks) finds herself imprisoned for a murder she claims she didn’t commit. Her husband (Crowe) desperately tries to vindicate her.

Paul Haggis is directing, writing and producing. Michael Nozik, Marc Missonnier and Olivier Delbosc will also produce. Shooting kicks off next month.
