“30 Rock” Alec Baldwin revealed to Vulture last night that he thinks the acclaimed NBC sitcom will be coming to a close.
“I will tell you one thing, and that is our show next year is our last year of the show. Our contracts are expired [in 2012], and Tina is gonna have a big career directing films and writing. She’s going to be the next Elaine May. She’ll be great” says Baldwin.
Though his departure hasn’t been a big secret, this is the first indication that the show itself could be wrapping up as well at the end of its sixth season next May. Tina Fey’s representatives declined to comment on the story.
NBC sources however tell The Wrap that as far as they know there are no plans to end the series next season.
