“Bad Boys 3” Gets New Title, Release Date

Sony Pictures’ long-in-development third film in the “Bad Boys” franchise has reportedly scored a new title: “Bad Boys for Life”.

Exhibitor Relations broke the news along with the film’s new release date of January 12th 2018 – six months later than the previous June 2nd 2017 date being targeted.

“The Grey” helmer Joe Carnahan takes over from Michael Bay as director on the project which will likely shoot once star Will Smith wraps work on “Collateral Beauty”. David Guggenheim penned the script while Jerry Bruckheimer is expected to return as a producer.

With the delay the July 3rd 2019 date marked out for a fourth “Bad Boys” will likely be moved or potentially even scrapped.
