A few quick updates on several MCU projects today, most notably the recently wrapped “Avengers: Infinity War” which actor Paul Bettany has spoken about.
Bettany, who played Jarvis and later The Vision in the films, has confirmed in a new interview that he will be making his return in the currently untitled fourth instalment in the series which has just started shooting. As for ‘Infinity War’, he tells Collider:
“It felt like the biggest movie that I’ve ever made and will ever make, and we’ve still got to make the [next] one. It’s f—ing crazy! I would come in, often at dawn because of the length of my make-up, and there would just be all of these twinkling lights. It looked like a town, but it wasn’t. It was where all of the trailers were. It’s massive!
The call sheets are bananas. When you see the list of cast members, you’re like, ‘How is anybody else making a film in Hollywood, this year? How are they getting films financed? Everybody is in this!'”
The comments come as some new artwork for the film goes online, while Marvel has also released a bunch of new stills from Taika Waititi’s “Thor: Ragnarok” which contains events that lead into ‘Infinity War’. See all of that below.
“Avengers: Infinity War” opens in cinemas in May next year.
