Warner Bros. Pictures has cast Ariana Greenblatt (the child Gamora in “Avengers: Infinity War”) as the voice of the young Velma, and Pierce Gagnon (“Looper”) as the voice of a young Fred in the upcoming animated Scooby-Doo film “Scoob”.
Zac Efron is voicing the adult version of Fred, while Gina Rodriguez will voice Velma, Amanda Seyfried will voice Daphne, Will Forte will voice Shaggy, Frank Welker will be voicing Scooby and Tracy Morgan will voice Captain Caveman.
In the film, the Mystery Inc. group will team up with other members of the Hanna-Barbera universe to save the world from Dick Dastardly. Tony Cervone is directing, while Chris Columbus, Pam Coats and Allison Abbate are serving as producers.
“Scoob” is slated for release in May 2020.
