“Doctor Strange” production designer Charles Wood is also working on the soon to shoot “Avengers: Infinity War” for Marvel Studios and recently teased that the upcoming two “Avengers” films will go far beyond the confines of Earth.
Speaking with Comicbook.com, Wood says the film is not going to be repeating what has come before it in the Marvel Cinematic Universe:
“I think rather like Doctor Strange, you’ll find this film, it’s not regurgatative, yeah? What I’m trying to say, is, there are many, many, many new worlds to see in this film. Any time you turn that page on this script, you’re kind of staggered, blown away, terrified by what’s in front of you.”
Shooting on the next two “Avengers” films kicks off in Atlanta next week and will run for a good portion of 2017. The films hit screens May 2018 and May 2019.
