Disney has begun gearing up its first real marketing push for “Avengers: Infinity War” with a massive Vanity Fair article today which includes seven major pictorial spreads showcasing the various key characters looks in the film along with four different collectible covers. You can check them all out in the gallery below.
The spreads were a part of the 10th anniversary photo shoot of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the article re-iterates that some of the characters are finishing up their runs with the next two “Avengers” films.
That said Disney promises that Marvel has at least another two decades worth of characters and worlds to explore with Disney studio chief Bob Iger saying: “We’re looking for worlds that are completely separate – geographically or in time – from the worlds that we’ve already visited.”
Marvel head Kevin Feige says: “[We’re] 22 movies in, and we’ve got another 20 movies on the docket that are completely different from anything that’s come before – intentionally. [The fourth film] bring things you’ve never seen in superhero films: a finale. There will be two distinct periods. Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting.”
“Avengers: Infinity War” is slated for a release in cinemas May 4th 2018 and the fourth on May 3rd 2019.
