Production is continuing on Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” with actor Robert Downey Jr. sharing a new photo of himself and three cast mates having a lunch break – Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Ruffalo, and Benedict Wong. All four are seemingly in costume with a glimpse of new outfits in particular for Cumberbatch & Downey.
In related news, actor Tom Holland has revealed that he didn’t wear his Spider-Man outfit on the film’s set. Photos and an Omaze video from the set revealed Holland in a mo-cap outfit for his scenes in the film, which he tells Bad Taste is due to the amount of CG being employed in those scenes:
“I think that’s because my suit sometimes when you’re doing stuff where so much CGI is happening behind you, it’s easier to CGI everything. I just show up and do as I’m told. So, I think that’s because CGI going on on that set that its easier to just paint the Homecoming suit onto my body rather than me wear and them have to paint over it. No, it’s not going to be different. I don’t think so. It’s the same suit.”
Anthony and Joe Russo are directing this first of two “Avengers” films currently in production. The epic endeavour is expected to switch over to the second film’s production next month. The films will hit May 2018 and May 2019 respectively.
