Google plans to unveil its “vision for the future of gaming” at the Game Developers Conference this coming week, but they aren’t going to be the only ones there showing off stuff.
Developer Crystal Dynamics, best known for the critically acclaimed “Tomb Raider” reboot game trilogy (and the well regarded “Tomb Raider: Legend’ trilogy before that), will be participating in a special panel hosted by Google on March 19th with speculation rising we may finally see something more from “The Avengers Project” game.
Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal (“Deus Ex”) are working on the title for publisher Square Enix but little is known about it beyond the first trailer released back in January 2017. Shaun Escayg (“The Last of Us,” “Uncharted 4”) serves as creative director on the game which is said to be crazily ambitious and features a completely original story.
In addition, “Uncharted” trilogy mastermind Amy Hennig and “Star Wars Galaxies” producer Raph Koster – who’ve both been linked to the new “Avengers” game in the past – will also participate on the panel which will be live-streamed for those not able to attend.
