“Avengers: Endgame” Moved Up A Week

Avengers Endgame Moved Up A Week

We all knew this was coming. After such success with it last year, Disney Pictures has moved up the release of the long-awaited fourth “Avengers” film by a week, and will now open it simultaneously across the world on April 26th rather than May 3rd.

Marvel Studios releases have often opened globally in late April ahead of an early May release in the U.S. mostly due to holiday differences and to allow the cast to do global press tours. Due to the secrecy involving this particular Marvel production however, a global simultaneous release is definitely warranted.

The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Josh Brolin, Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, Letitia Wright, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeremy Renner, Jon Favreau, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Benedict Wong, Frank Grillo, Hiroyuki Sanada, Katherine Langford and Stan Lee co-star in the film, as might Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Evangeline Lilly and Dave Bautista.

“Avengers: Endgame” opens in cinemas April 26th 2019.
