Atari has unveiled Atari VCS, a retro-inspired gaming and entertainment platform and the company’s first console in two decades.
The company says the new console will bring the ‘full PC experience for the TV, bringing you streaming, applications, social, browsing, music, and more”. It will support pre-loaded retro Atari games and “current titles from a range of studios”.
Two controllers are available – a joystick reminiscent of the Atari 2600 and a more modern keypad controller. A preorder date for Atari VCS will be revealed in April.
