No this is not an April Fool.
Variety reports that Ashton Kutcher is set to play late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in an indie biopic called “Jobs” which begins shooting in May.
Matt Whiteley penned the script which follows Jobs’s journey from Northern California hippie to become the co-founder of one of the largest and most recognisable corporations in history.
Joshua Michael Stern (“Swing Vote”) helms the project which will be shot during Kutcher’s downtime between filming on “Two and a Half Men”.
The movie is not to be confused with a rival biopic Sony has in development based on Walter Isaacson’s authorised biography.
