“Aquaman” To Film In Australia Next Year

Production on James Wan’s “Aquaman” movie for Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Comics is scheduled to undergo some filming in Wan’s home country of Australia along with the Leavesden stages in London.

The Daily Telegraph made the announcement, saying the project will shoot in the Aussie summer, which would match rumored reports of a January start date for the production. It isn’t clear which part of the country will be utilised for filming though. Wan helms from a script by Will Beal.

Jason Momoa is in line to reprise his role as Arthur Curry, and is joined by the likes of Amber Heard and Willem Dafoe in supporting roles. The film is currently targeting a July 27th 2018 release.
