Apple Greenlights Nanjiani’s “Little America”

Apple has greenlit the half-hour immigration-themed anthology series “Little America” from “The Big Sick” scribes Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon.

Based on the true stories featured in Epic Magazine, the show is described as a small, collective portrait of America’s immigrants – exploring their funny, romantic, heartfelt, inspiring, and unexpected lives.

Lee Eisenberg (“SMILF”) pens and will serve as showrunner and executive producer alongside Nanjiani and Gordon. Alan Yang (“Master of None”), Joshuah Bearman and Joshua Davis will also executive produce.
