Following his scene-stealing turns as Victor Zsasz in “Gotham” and NoHo Hank in “Barry,” actor Anthony Carrigan has scored the role of the lead villain in “Bill & Ted Face the Music” for Orion Pictures.
In the film, now middle-aged best friends Bill and Ted (Alex Winter & Keanu Reeves) set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe.
Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters (Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine), old friends (including William Sadler as Death), a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends.
Details of Carrigan’s character are under wraps. Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon have penned the script with Dean Parisot set to direct.
Alex Lebovici and Steve Ponce will produce while Steven Soderbergh is executive producing. The film opens August 21st 2020.
