“Ant-Man and The Wasp” Wraps Filming

Filmmaker Peyton Reed has used Twitter to confirm that production has officially wrapped on Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man and The Wasp”.

The announcement comes as Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer were photographed filming a scene for the movie on a beach, that scene being the last one of filming before the project wrapped.

Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Laurence Fishburne, Walton Goggins, Randall Park, Michael Pena, Hannah John-Kamen, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Abby Ryder Fortson, Tip ‘T.I.’ Harris and David Dastmalchian co-star in the new film in which Scott Lang (Rudd) struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man.

He’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.

Additionally a new set video featuring Rudd answering some fan questions from the set for HBO’s “Night of Too Many Stars” has gone online. Check that below, the film itself opens July 6th next year.
