“The Fault in Our Stars” leading man Ansel Elgort is set to star in the quickly assembling indie thriller “Jonathan”.
Elgort would play Jonathan, a successful architect with a strict routine. His twin brother John is the opposite – sleeping all day and spending the night secretly socializing.
When Jonathan discovers that John has a secret girlfriend, Elena, he forces John to end things and then starts a new relationship Elena out of curiosity. John ultimately catches wind of the affair, forving Jonathan to seek the help of the pair’s controlling physician Dr. Mina Nariman.
“Guilt” helmer Bill Oliver directs the project from a script by Peter Nickowitz. Randy Manis and Ricky Tollman are producing. The film begins shooting next month in New York.
Elgort has male leading roles in both “Billionaire Boys Club” and Edgar Wright’s “Baby Driver” in the can and on the way in coming months. He’s also been linked to the big screen “Dungeons and Dragons” reboot.
