Angryfilms has scored the film rights to Cory Doctorow’s young-adult sci-fi novel “Little Brother” says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story follows high school senior Marcus Yallow who finds himself and his friends near a terrorist bombing of The San Francisco Bay bridge. Apprehended by Homeland Security and interrogated for three brutal days, all but one of the group is released to find that San Francisco has become a police state.
He soon becomes a key figure in the organised rebellion in an effort to rescue his friends and free the city.
Don Murphy and Susan Montford will produce. Writers and directors are currently being sought.
