Andy Serkis (“Lord of the Rings,” “The Prestige”) is moving into directing and is already working on some scripts reports Teletext.
Serkis, promoting his new film “Sugarhouse” said: “I’ve always wanted to go into directing films. I’m working on a book by Steven Smith called Addict, and another script called Dark Blue Rising.”
He adds that he ain’t about to quit his staple job though – “I’m not quitting acting because I love it so much but I want to direct too.”
Gary Love (TV’s Soldier Soldier), who also stars in “Sugarhouse”, revealed he’s picked up the film rights to the story of an undercover cop who served 15 years in the force, despite having schizophrenia.
