We all know the go to man for mo-cap, Andy Serkis, has a role in the upcoming “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” which includes the ominous voice over narration heard in the trailer. A new rumor today though indicates the acclaimed actor may have more than one role in the film.
Jedi News reports that the actor will have two parts – one a motion capture character, the other in which his human self will appear.
In regards to the mo-cap one, they say he leads “a group of unbelievably athletic and acrobatic characters.” Actress Crystal Clarke and parkour expert Pip Anderson are said to be two of the people involved in that group.
The other role is a smaller one, yet still pivotal, and “entwines with Daisy Ridley’s backstory… [This storyline] may have more to it than it seems in the first instance.”
The site points out that none of this has been confirmed. The J.J. Abrams-directed film hits cinemas on December 18th 2015.
