Producer Arthur Sarkissian (“Rush Hour 3”) has optioned Lawrence Sanders novel “The Anderson Tapes” with plans to adapt it says Variety.
Previously turned into a 1971 Sidney Lumet-directed Sean Connery feature. The original follows an ex-con in New York who doesn’t know he’s under surveillance as he tries to rip off a high-rise apartment building.
Sarkissian says the new version will be set in Miami. He’s also optioned William Stadiem and Mara Gibbs food critique book “Everybody Eats There” into a comedy about the European culinary travelogue of the world’s most finnicky eater.
