Anderson Out Of Spy Hunter

“Alien vs. Predator” director Paul W.S. Anderson looks to have dropped out of directing the big budget adaptation of Midway video game “Spy Hunter” says Latino Review.

A year ago when his connection was announced, Anderson was suppose to be working with a writer to pen the project which has already gone through several scribes. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has long been attached to play the secret agent behind the wheel of the vehicle.

During promotion of the upcoming car action movie “Death Race” though, Anderson says “I don’t know if I’ll ever do another car movie after this” – as Spy Hunter’s car is a big element of the game and movie it brings his involvement into question.

The site also claims to have been told from people who are close to the project is that Anderson is NOT doing the film and that he’s been taken off the project.
