“There Will Be Blood” actor Daniel Day-Lewis and director Paul Thomas Anderson look to be re-teaming for a very different project – one set in the world of high fashion.
Lewis, who hasn’t made a film since “Lincoln” in 2012, has reportedly gone from being very loosely attached to being in actual talks to star in the untitled project which will be set in 1950s New York and revolve around the fashion industry. Further specifics about the plot have not been revealed.
Anderson is still working on a script while meeting young actresses of Eastern European descent to cast supporting roles. Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures is producing and financing the project having done the same for PTA’s last two films – “The Master” and “Inherent Vice.”
