Amy Ryan has scored the female lead in the buddy comedy “Central Intelligence” at Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line.
Kevin Hart plays a mild-mannered accountant who hears from a former classmate (Dwayne Johnson) who was bullied in high school. The guy the accountant discovers the former loser now kills for the CIA and talks him into helping thwart a plot to sell military secrets.
Ryan will play the CIA operative who is chasing Johnson’s character. Also onboard is Danielle Nicolet as Hart’s wife and childhood sweetheart. The film is targeting a June 2016 release.
Rawson Marshall Thurber directs from a script by Ike Barinholtz and David Stassen. Scott Stuber will produce.
