“American Horror Story” Gets A Tenth Season

American Horror Story Gets A Tenth Season

FX has handed out a tenth season renewal order for “American Horror Story,” the announcement coming ahead of the show’s eighth season premiere.

The deal, which will take the series through to 2020 on the network, is unsurprising as the anthology series remains one of FX’s most valuable and critically-acclaimed properties – even with Murphy heading over to Netflix.

The upcoming eighth season ‘Apocalypse’ will be a crossover between the first and third seasons and will debut on September 12th. Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Kathy Bates will all return while Cody Fern also joins.

The network also says it plans multiple iterations of Murphy’s other anthology shows with the network – “Feud” and “American Crime Story”. However the planned “Feud: Charles and Diana” series has been scrapped.
