All has been quiet on the “American Horror Story” front following the soft reception to last year’s ‘Cult’ and now creator Ryan Murphy has finally dropped some hints as to what is going to take place this year.
On Twitter, Murphy revealed that the long-hyped crossover between the storylines ‘Murder House’ from the first season and ‘Coven’ from the third will actually take place this year, not next as previously rumored: “The Coven/Murder House AHS crossover season won’t be happening next year…because it’s happening THIS YEAR. AHS #8 WITCHES RULE THIS SEPTEMBER.”
He also indicates the new season will debut in September. Most of the returning cast members would come back for the eighth season including Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jackson, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman and Billie Lourd.
TV legend Joan Collins will make her debut in the franchise with the new season which begins shooting imminently.
