“American Gods” Returning March 10th

American Gods Returning March 10th

Following months of rumors and talk of behind-the-scenes issues, not to mention numerous actor exits, Starz’s “American Gods” has finally confirmed a launch date for the second season premiere – March 10th.

In the new season a council at the House on the Rock explodes into chaos, sending deities both Old and New on quests across America that will converge on Cairo, Illinois: forcing Shadow to carve out a place as a believer in this strange new world of living gods – a dark world where change demands commitment and faith requires terrible sacrifice.

Ricky Whittle, Ian McShane, Yetide Badaki, Orlando Jones, Omid Abtahi and Mousa Kraish star in the new eight-episode run which no longer has Michael Green and Bryan Fuller as showrunners, the pair replaced by Jesse Alexander with reports indicating Alexander was then fired before the season was done. Whatever the case, the season finale episode will be interesting to watch.
