AMC Studios has announced it has given a green light for a new supernatural horror series based on Joe Hill’s bestselling novel “NOS4A2”.
The story follows Vic McQueen, a working-class artist who discovers she has a supernatural ability to track the seemingly immortal Charlie Manx who devours children’s souls. The remnants of them are left in a twisted Christmas Village of Manx’s imagination. Vic must strive to defeat Manx and rescue his victims.
Jami O’Brien (“Fear the Walking Dead,” “Hell on Wheels”) created the show for television and will serve as showrunner. He will also executive produce along with Hill and Lauren Corrao.
Ten episodes are planned for the first season which will air in 2019.
