AMC Developing Black Lives Matter Series

AMC has announced plans to develop “They Can’t Kill Us All,” a series about the Black Lives Matter movement based on Wesley Lowrey’s non-fiction bestseller.

Conducted in the wake of Michael Brown’s death, the book is the result of hundreds of interviews during the course of over one year reporting on the ground in Ferguson, Cleveland, Charleston and Baltimore to explore the most heavily policed, if otherwise neglected, corners of America today.

Lowery examines the cumulative effect of decades of racially biased policing in segregated neighborhoods combined with crumbling infrastructure. LaToya Morgan, Brad Weston, Pam Abdy and Scott Nemes will executive produce.
