Amazon’s Movies/Shows On ‘Kindle Fire’

Amazon has taken a direct shot across the bow of the iPad’s market with today’s announcement of the new model, the ‘Kindle Fire’, which hits stores on November 15th.

The ‘Fire’ will give users “instant access to all the content, free storage in the Amazon Cloud, the convenience of Amazon Whispersync, our revolutionary cloud-accelerated web browser, the speed and power of a state-of-the-art dual-core processor, a vibrant touch display with 16 million colors in high resolution, and a light 14.6 ounce design that’s easy to hold with one hand – all for only $199.”

This includes all of Amazon’s On-Demand library – over 100,000 movies and TV shows from Amazon Instant Video including instant, unlimited, commercial-free streaming of over 11,000 movies and TV shows; over 17,000,000 songs from Amazon MP3; over 1,000,000 Kindle books and 100 exclusive graphic novels; and all the most popular Android apps and games.
