Allen, Finney Return For “Bourne Legacy”

Joan Allen and Albert Finney are in negotiations to reprise their characters for the upcoming “The Bourne Legacy” at Universal Pictures says The Hollywood Reporter.

Finney played Dr. Albert Hirsch, the man who ran Treadstone’s behavior modification program, in “The Bourne Ultimatum”. Allen played Pamela Landy, a CIA Deputy Director who hunted down Matt Damon’s character in “The Bourne Supremacy” and later becomes something of an ally in ‘Ultimatum’.

At the end of ‘Ultimatum’ Landy was seen testifying in front of the Senate about Operation Blackbriar which lead to the arrest of Hirsch. Both will continue their roles where they left off.

As previously reported, Damon is not involved in this chapter which now has Jeremy Renner starring as a new operative along with Rachel Weisz, Oscar Isaac and Edward Norton in other roles. Tony Gilroy penned the script and will direct.
