Allan Loeb (“Rock of Ages,” “San Andreas 3D”) has come onboard the musical comedy “Bob the Musical” which has been in development at Disney Pictures for ten years.
The story follows a regular guy who, after a blow to the head, suddenly can hear the inner songs of everyone’s heart. His reality is instantly turned into a musical, much to his dismay.
Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who created the music for Disney’s recent animated smash hit “Frozen,” will handle Bob’s music and lyrics.
Loeb is the latest writer on the project, a film the likes of Adam Shankman, Phil Lord and Chris Miller have all had a go on.
