Fox chief Tom Rothman tells IESB that along with a “Predator” reboot, there’s talk of an “Alien” prequel and Ridley Scott is “toying around with the idea” as a potential future project. “If you can get the originator to do it that would be the greatest thing, so I’ve got my fingers crossed” says Rothman

Robert Zemeckis tells MTV News that thanks the the likes of performance capture and CG animation these days, he’s considering revisiting his late 80’s animated/live-action hybrid comedy classic “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”. Sadly he won’t go into detail.

“Gremlins” director Joe Dante tells Bloody Disgusting that with all the reboots in the works, he expects a third “Gremlins” movie sometime but he himself won’t be involved. He is however at work on a Blu-ray release of the first two films and the initial release for this Summer has been pushed back as those behind the remastered transfer are determined to do a great job with it and rejected the first version that came along because it wasn’t up to scratch.

Finally, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” co-creator Peter Laird tells MTV News that the upcoming live-action film will be a “Batman Begins-style” origin reboot tale. Along with Shredder and the like, the Baxter Stockman character and the little robot snapper creatures may also be incorporated.
