“Alien: Covenant” Set To Get A Sequel Book

In May we get “Alien: Covenant,” the second of Ridley Scott’s prequel films that setup events in his original 1979 classic “Alien”. It’s not clear exactly if Scott intends to do just one or possibly two more films after this, but it looks like there’ll be more than just the upcoming film to chew on.

Bloody Disgusting reports that ‘Covenant’ is set to get a direct sequel novel which will be released in September.

Alan Dean Foster, who has written previous “Alien” novelizations, will be writing the adaptation of the screenplay for “Alien: Covenant” which hits bookstores May 23rd.

Titan Books will then follow up this release on September 26th of the book “Alien: Covenant 2,” a 304-page work being dubbed “The Official Sequel to the Blockbuster Film.” At this time, “Alien: Covenant 2” does not have a synopsis or any cover artwork but is available for pre-order on Amazon.

“Alien: Covenant” is slated to hit cinemas on May 19th.
