Alias Duo Reunite For Apples Friends

“Alias” creator J.J. Abrams and star Jennifer Garner are reuniting for Apple’s limited series “My Glory Was I Had Such Friends”. The project has been given a straight-to-series order with Abrams set to executive produce.

Based on the 2017 memoir by Amy Silverstein, the story showcases the power of friendship as it follows an extraordinary group of women who supported Silverstein as she waited for a second life-saving heart transplant.

Garner will also executive produce alongside Abrams and Ben Stephenson Ben Stephenson (“Westworld”) and Karen Croner (“The Tribes of Palos Verdes”) with the latter also penning the script.
