Alex Wolff (“Hereditary,” “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle”) has been set to star in Ethan Berger’s thriller “The Line” starring John Malkovich, Scoot McNairy, Jessica Barden and Lewis Pullman.
Berger and Alex Russek co-wrote the coming-of-age thriller set at a university that encapsulates the wild excitement of being young and the dangers of living without fear of consequences.
Lije Sarki (“Peanut Butter Falcon”) is producing with David Carrico and Adam Paulsen, while filming begins this Fall.
Wolff, who just wrapped the third “Jumanji” and recently helmed his first feature “The Cat and the Moon,” is currently shooting the indie crime drama “Castle in the Ground”.
Wolff plays a young man who, after the untimely death of his mother, befriends his charismatic but troubled next-door neighbour Ana (Imogen Poots) who embroils him in a world of addiction and violence. Neve Campbell, Tom Cullen and Keir Gilchrist will co-star in the Joey Klein directed feature.
