Alex Holmes has been hired to pen the adaptation of Tom Wood’s novel “The Killer” for Studiocanal, The Picture Company and Sentient Entertainment. Pierre Morel (“Taken”) is slated to direct.
The first in a six-book series dubbed the ‘Victor The Assassin’ franchise, the critically acclaimed work follows a mysterious and charismatic killer whose conscience begins to catch up with him and puts him at odds with his employers.
The hope is the film will be the potential first in a franchise. Holmes penned and directed episodes of “House Of Saddam” and “Strike Back” along with the documentary “Stop At Nothing”.
