Irish actor Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (“Love/Hate,” “Peaky Blinders”) has confirmed that he will have a role in Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” after being spotted not that long ago on the film’s set in a mo-cap suit.
Speaking with Dublin Live, .Vaughan-Lawlor couldn’t reveal his character’s name due to the whole secrecy of the project:
“It’s like I’m one of those ones where you go into a sentence to say something about it and hope you have a job at the end of the sentence. You sign so many documents and waivers and people ask you about it and you have to give the generic and boring ‘I can’t say too much about it’. But I am doing it and it’s really amazing and an amazing thing to be part of.”
In similar news, Numan Acar (“In the Fade,” “Prison Break”) has been cast in Guy Ritchie’s live-action “Aladdin” remake at Disney Pictures. Acar joins Will Smith as Genie as well as Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott, in the roles of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine, respectively.
