African RPG Title “Aurion” Becomes A Film

The fantasy role-playing game “Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan” is getting the movie treatment via Good Fear Film.

Based on African mythology, Aurion follows the fallen heirs to the throne of a kingdom who are forced to embark on an epic journey building alliances with the diverse neighboring kingdoms and harnessing power emanated by their ancestors.

Their aim is to fulfill their destiny as leaders and to reclaim their realm as king and queen. The game, created by Cameroon-based game creator Madiba Olivier, was released on Steam earlier this year.

Chris Bender and Jake Weiner are expected to produce the film adaptation.
