Ben Affleck is set to upgrade his commitment to the DC Extended Universe with word today that he has signed on as executive producer on Zack Snyder’s currently shooting “Justice League: Part One”.
The role comes on top of his co-starring capacity on the film and will see him working with Snyder and screenwriter Chris Terrio behind the scenes to make the film the best it can be.
Affleck is already set to reprise his Batman/Bruce Wayne character not just in this film but numerous other DCEU films down the line including a standalone “Batman” film he’s set to star in, produce, direct and co-write with Geoff Johns.
Affleck is reportedly making this commitment in an effort to be supportive of Snyder whom has come under fire for the critical derision of this year’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” on which they both worked. The first of the “Justice League” films is aiming for a November 17th 2017 release.
