Affleck Drops Out Of “Triple Frontier”

Ben Affleck has reportedly dropped out of the long in the works “Triple Frontier” feature at Netflix. Affleck came on board back in April when Netflix took over the project from Paramount.

Mark Boal penned the story which is set in the notorious border zone between Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil where the Igazu and Parana rivers converge – a haven for organized crime.

The likes of Tom Hardy, Channing Tatum, Johnny Depp, Tom Hanks, Will Smith and Mahershala Ali have all been attached at some point while Kathryn Bigelow was slated to direct at one time.

J.C. Chandor (“All is Lost,” “Margin Call”) remains attached as director.
