Following the rousing success of “Murder Mystery,” Adam Sandler’s next and still untitled feature for Netflix has enlisted a bunch of key actors for the Halloween themed shenanigans.
Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Maya Rudolph, Steve Buscemi, Ray Liotta, Michael Chiklis, Rob Schneider and Kenan Thompson along with China Anne McClain, Paris Berelc, Tim Meadows, Colin Quinn, June Squibb, Shaquille O’Neal, Karan Brar, Noah Schnapp, Mikey Day, Melissa Villaseñor, Kym Whitley, Lavell Crawford, Betsy Sodaro, George Wallace, and Blake Clark have all hopped on board.
Steve Brill helms from a screenplay by Sandler and Tim Herlihy and is set in Salem, Massachusetts. Sandler plays a resident devoted to the town’s legendary Halloween celebration.
Mocked by the rest of the town, when something truly scary threatens Halloween it’s up to Hubie to save the most important day of the year. As per usual, this will be a Happy Madison production.
Sandler’s “Murder Mystery” set a viewership record on the platform of 30 million views the first weekend, the most ever for an original film.
