Actress Elizabeth Pena reportedly passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday, at the age of 55.
The New Jersey born, Cuban immigrant-raised actress had a career that spanned nearly forty years. She appeared in numerous films including “Jacob’s Ladder,” “La Bamba,” “Rush Hour,” “Batteries Not Included,” “Blue Steel” and voiced the character Mirage in “The Incredibles”.
On TV she starred in ABC’s “I Married Dora,” voiced a role on the animated series “Justice League” and “American Dad,” and recently wrapped work on El Rey’s “Matador”.
Pena is survived by her husband, two children, mother and sister.
