Two projects in the works have cast members of the Kennedy family.
First up, Danish actor Caspar Phillipson (“Borgen,” “The Bridge”) has been cast as President John F. Kennedy opposite Natalie Portman as his wife Jackie in Pablo Larrain’s biopic of the former First Lady.
The biopic, which chronicles the first four days in Jackie Kennedy’s life after JFK’s assassination, also stars Peter Sarsgaard, Greta Gerwig and John Hurt in a Noah Oppenheim-scripted film which Darren Aronofsky is producing.
Meanwhile, Matthew Perry has been tapped to both executive produce and play Ted Kennedy in the upcoming four-hour mini-series “The Kennedys: After Camelot”.
The follow-up to the 2011 mini-series “The Kennedys” will follow Ted Kennedy in the years following the assassinations of brothers Jack and Bobby Kennedy. The series will premiere in Spring 2017.
