Acclaimed Short Film “Miles” Gets A Feature

Lakeshore Entertainment and Open Road Films are teaming to co-produce and co-finance Oliver Daly’s “Miles,” a feature film based on his original short which kicked off a bidding war last year.

Eighteen-year-old Miles is searching for a way out of his small California town and stumbles upon M.A.X., an escaped prototype of an advanced robot.

He soon finds himself in an unlikely friendship, and the target of a massive manhunt that puts him and everyone he cares about in danger.

David S. Goyer and Kebin Turen will produce through their Phantom Four Films banner, developing the feature’s script with Daly. Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi will also produce and shooting kicks off later this Summer. The original short is included below:
