Abrams Goes On A Scavenger Hunt

Paramount Pictures and J.J. Abrams have picked up film rights to Penelope Green’s New York Times article about a home filled with secret compartments and hidden scavenger hunt clues says the trades.

The Upper East Side luxury apartment on Fifth Avenue was completely renovated a few years ago at the behest of the owners, a pair of Wall Street financial experts, who later moved in with their four children.

The pair hired young architectural designer Eric Clough who devised an elaborately clever “scavenger hunt” built into the apartment that involved dozens of historical figures, a fictional book and a soundtrack.

Abrams will produce the film through his Bad Robot company whilst Maya Forbes and Wally Wolodarsky have been tapped to write.
