Former “McLeod’s Daughters” hunk Aaron Jeffrey has gone through a screen test to play Hugh Jackman’s brother in 20th Century Fox’s upcoming “Wolverine” film reports The Sydney Morning Herald.
Jackman has been back home in Sydney, Australia in recent months exhaustively training for the $100 million spin-off prequel and quietly casting and auditioning actors for roles in the production which kicks off a 3-4 month shoot next month in Sydney and New Zealand.
Seed Productions confirms that not all the casting has been finalised and won’t comment on Jeffrey’s situation specifically.
Meanwhile Scene.co.nz reports that the New Zealand leg of shooting on the film will take place in Queenstown and surrounding areas over December and January for four to six weeks. They say more than one set will be built in the Wakatipu but shooting will also take place in Central Otago, including Naseby. Interior shooting will take place afterwards at Fox Studios in Sydney.
