MGM is reportedly moving forward with “Shanghai Dawn,” a third film in the Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson-led action comedy series following 2000’s “Shanghai Noon” and 2003’s “Shanghai Knights”.
Tracking Board announced the news, saying the pair will reprise their roles in the film which is currently seeking writers. Jonathan Glickman, who now runs MGM, will return as producer.
Both previously films grossed just under $100 million each at the box-office. At the time of the second film’s release the was talk of a third with this title, but that version never came together… until now it seems.
