A “Silent Hill” Sequel Back On Course?

Lionsgate will offer pre-sales for a “Silent Hill” sequel at the upcoming American Film Market reports Bloody Disgusting.

First announced last September, scribe Roger Avary was penning the new screenplay – a job put on hold as he served out a year-long prison sentence for a drunk driving accident. Released in August, Avary has now apparently finished his “Silent Hill 2” script.

It’s unsure whether any other cast or crew members from the 2006 film will be involved, or what story elements would be followed from either it or the video game series upon which it was based.
